How Our Lessons Work

Guitar lessons at Lafayette School of Guitar aren't set up the way most people expect. If you've taken lessons before, or looked into them, you probably have a picture in your head of what they look like. Mine are different, and that difference is the point.

Structured Learning With a Clear Direction

Every lesson has a purpose. You're not just noodling through songs and hoping something sticks. I take you through specific techniques, concepts, and skills in an order that's planned on purpose, so what you learn in one lesson builds directly on the next.

You always know what you're working on and why.

Your Progress Is Actively Tracked

I don't leave progress up to your imagination. Your development is tracked and documented, so you can see where you started, where you are now, and what's next. That takes the guesswork out of whether you're actually improving. You'll be able to see it clearly.

The Best Way to Understand It Is to Experience It

Everything above is easier to understand once you've been through a session yourself. That's why I offer a free intro session with no obligation, so you can see firsthand how I work before making any decisions.
